Northbrook is a luxury retirement lifestyle for discerning patrons. 
Every word and image on this website speaks to the care and attention to detail Northbrook dedicated to this new development. 
The website and surrounding campaign showed Northbrook's refined vision of a premium, quality lifestyle for retirees—aged to perfection.

Emma contacted me as she was creating a new brand and website to launch her business. We discussed her unique point of difference and what she felt strongly about in her offering, then wove this into everything we created. The Bondi Baby Sleep Consultant website carefully steps new parents through what they can expect and is true to Emma's personality and style.

Niki needed a revamp of her website. She is a passionate and focused business owner who built her brand from the ground up and knows it inside out. Although she was a little hesitant to let me at it,
turns out when you combine a honed brand identity with mad copywriting skills, you can take your website to the next level.
Niki was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. “Really REALLY impressed. I love it! You've done an amazing job.”

This one was as sumptuous to write as the golden honey Olesya harvests.
Nga Pi Honey has a lovely, rich brand story. This is a family-owned brand who are set to take on the global market for NZ manuka, kanuka, clover, and more.
I enjoyed this copywriting task; bringing forward the family feel, connection to the land, and pride in their product. I also wrote the concept, storyboard, and voice script for the homepage video—it's gorgeous.

What a fun brand! These guys are full of energy and love what they do.
Soccer Buddies wanted an updated site that shouts from the rooftops their passion for getting young people moving and seeing them grow in confidence and skill.
In the first three seconds of visiting a website you need to be able to see:
1.      What they do
2.      How they do it differently
3.      How I can take the next step, e.g. contact or buy
In the old site, there was quite a few messages going on but nothing that really said, “Here’s what we do and why we do it well.”
After working through their value proposition and hierarchy of messaging, I was able to deliver an attention grabbing, informative homepage—big on fun.
I also worked with the Soccer Buddies team to brainstorm, refine, and write their mission statement. What an honour.

Heath and Eva Nixon needed a brand-new website to promote their growing business. I asked Heath about his business to get a feel for him and his work. After having a chuckle at a few of his responses, I got a feel for his passion, perfectionism, and sense of humour.
I’m really pleased with how his site turned out. Credit to the talented Michelle of Zew Nealand Design for the gorgeous site design.

These guys had all the building blocks of a great brand but needed a little help to get it across in a cohesive way.
By updating their copy, I was able to succinctly describe who they are and what they do, clearly describe each service and package, and create a logical flow, leading the customer to get in contact.
Then I wrapped it all up as a tasty treat, with some fun, food-related wordplay showing off their brand personality.

I'm proud to work with Tōtara Hospice. Writing stories of service, charity, recovery, and grief is not a job I take lightly. I have had the opportunity to write stories from so many angles, the volunteers, the carers, the families of those with a terminal illness. Each one has touched my heart, as I hope the words I write touch the reader and move them to help Tōtara Hospice in some way.

Interviews are a great way to create content. I wrote this article from a Zoom interview between ASB Head of Wealth & Insurance and Karen Walker. It’s all about finding the voice of the subject, understanding the overarching narrative, and creating a flow to take the reader on that journey.

DataTribe are experts in their field. They have their fingers on the pulse of the data industry and wanted to share this with their customers. And so, Tribe Talk was born. With topics ranging from privacy strategy to tips on using their favourite tools, I helped shape their eDM format to highlight news from the industry and Data Tribe's specialist view. From COO’s to digital marketers, there’s thought leadership content for everyone, in every issue.

CUTE & CO. keep your baby looking cute! This newcomer on the nappy scene has plenty to rave about to their customer base including nappy specials, new product releases, and giveaways. Their regular customer communication keeps their loyal customers engaged.

Even content creators need help writing content! Simple Life Social is an energetic brand that’s growing by the day. Brie needed a hand to create content for her fortnightly customer newsletter. Channelling Brie’s signature positive energy, I wrote her customer messaging and sourced relevant content from around the internet to summarise and send to her client base.

I've had an absolute blast evolving the Tuffy brand copy tone. It's good-natured, loyal, relatable, honest, cheeky—I'd totally go for a drink with Tuffy. The brand personalilty shines in their Instagram feed. Bold, quirky images with spot on captions. Chef's kiss.

I love that this American brand talking to apartment managers and residents chose little ol' me from the suburbs of NZ to write for them! 
This revolutionary new brand needed some high energy, fun copy to cut through the social media landscape. With a very clear proposition and target market, we had great fun telling the story of this brand and captivating their audience with a simple, smart solution.

Healthy Love is at the forefront of relationship research and has created some amazing products.
The Needs Cards help people communicate their feelings without having to find the words. I helped Healthy Love find the right words to launch kids’ cards on her website and social media.
The Relationship Review is what happens when a couples counselling meets board games. With this ground-breaking product, I helped shape the user experience, the copy, and launch the product online and in social media.

SALES TOOLS

This premium property developer needed a sales booklet to portray the astounding beauty of their new developments in the South Island.
The River Terrace brochure let’s the images do the talking, withe copy supporting the magic.
To write the brochure, we had to get clear around the target audience and the lifestyle they were looking for. I did a lot of research around the activities, facilities, and highlights of the area. Sadly, that didn’t include a cheeky trip down south.

A friend and fellow small business owner founded Fu/nis training. She is growing her gym empire and needed some updated sales collateral.
We started with the brochure. After a briefing over coffee, we had nailed what was working and what needed to change from their current marketing. We also talked a lot about the type of customer she wants to attract. Targeting is everything!

Fu/nis were close to opening their Takapuna branch and we wanted to generate some buzz! Utilising the new space and cashing-in on people’s intrigue, we created a large format Opening Soon poster for the new front doors. An on-brand opening soon message along with a trial session offer worked a treat.

TUFFY

I've had a tonne of fun working on the Tuffy brand personality and packaging copy. Next time you're in the supermarket, have a read of the back of the pack—not you're average paper towel wrapper copy!

The icing on the cake? The packaging was nominated for a Best Award 2023.

Aquawipes needed a fresh look to compete in the busy baby wipes market, and they got some clean, fresh copy to go with it!

The client at Nga Pi Honey needed a video to sit on their homepage, but also one they could play at International Expos and cut to create social content too.
After exploring their brand story, and using the Maori pepeha as an opening theme, I storyboarded the shots and wrote the voice over introducing Nga Pi Honey to the world.

CUTE & CO. came to me to help launch newborn nappies for their littlest customers. We worked together on social media posts, website copy, and this wee TVC script.
